from my weekly creative searching, i came across a campaign from an agency in cleveland called twist. i've always been a fan of billboards - they make me giggle, roll my eyes, point and there have been a few that have had me pondering their meaning for the duration of my trip. this particular agency created a set of billboards to simply start a conversation. check out what the public thought here.
as marketing changes as technology advances, i believe people are going to expect more - possibly more extravagant and involved, but i don't think it needs to be that way. this campaign featured a simple landscape billboard and a simple word. the results? increased website traffic by 22% and a 50% increase in resumé submissions, that were completely unintended! sometimes thinking outside of the box doesn't need to be as involved as we think - and can bring unexpected results that increase and expand our creative perspective. photo from adweek
